Why it exists
Most useful design is encountered in passing: a threshold that makes sense, a label placed at the right moment, a tool that invites the hand to use it correctly. Bridgefield pauses long enough to notice.
Our notes are deliberately small. They are written from direct observation, edited for clarity, and published without a fixed schedule.
Editorial principles
Be specific. Credit care wherever it appears. Prefer durable ideas to novelty. Leave enough room for the reader to see something we missed.
